These three artworks are almost completely generated by thousands of computers or virtual computers located in China, and a computer that I control somewhere else in the cloud in an inadvertent artistic collaboration. I performed very light manual editing on the images for presentation to humans. Usually these kinds of images aren't as visually striking at this series. I suspect that the origin of the internet traffic which created these images may be espionage or similar related, but decided to repurpose the results as art because they look nice. Given the ownership of the images are questionable (is it the thousands of chinese computers? Is it the analytics system that made the graph, is it me - who just trimmed the already there graphs down a little bit to improve the symmetry?) I doubt it's reasonable for anyone to claim copyright.
